Practice Description 

Lynne Williams practices primarily in the areas of estate planning, probate, trust and estate law, transfer taxation, and marital property law.  She also has extensive experience in the areas of business transactions, commercial and consumer lending and regulations, real estate acquisition, development, and financing, and municipal utility district law.

Prior to joining Baker Williams Matthiesen LLP in 2006, Ms. Williams gained her experience as an associate and a partner at a highly regarded large Houston regional law firm.

Ms. Williams is active in Dress For Success - Houston where she was past President of the Corporate Guild. She is also an active member in community affairs and a longtime member of Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church.  She is married to John B. Williams, Jr., and has two children, Blaine and Elizabeth (married to Rob Crawley).
