Anna’s practice is concentrated in the areas of estate planning, trusts, and probate law.  She also handles a wide variety of transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate formation, real estate, and public finance.

Before joining Baker Williams Matthiesen, Anna built her own estate planning and probate practice.  She also has experience working for a Fortune 500 company in the field of international corporate tax and with a nonprofit focusing on elder law and tax law issues. 

Anna earned her Juris Doctor at American University Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C.  While in law school, she served as the Executive Editor of the American University Journal of Gender, Social Policy, & the Law and as a Dean’s Fellow for the Legal Rhetoric Program.  Anna received her Bachelor of Arts from Rice University.

A cellist and the daughter of a Houston Symphony Orchestra violinist, Anna is a strong supporter of the orchestra and local musicians.  She also serves on the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Wine Events Committee.
